how did you wire them to turn on with the driving lights?

Also how did you mount them?

RE: DIY DRL

Since I rarely need foglights here it the Phoenix area. I decided to use mine as DRL.
I bypassed the foglight relay which is only activated with the low beam headlights on.
By inserting a jumper wire between a circuit energized by the ignition relay, and the foglight fuse. I now have DRL controlled by the ignition switch.
In the fusebox to the right of the battery. Fuses #48, #49, #50, #51, #54, and #55, are energized only when the ignition switch is in the RUN position. Fuse #56 is the foglight circuit.
I’m using LEDs in my fogs. They use much less power, and should last forever.
