Yes, it's really easy. Here is a how to of a wind splitter that I did, used, curbed, and took off.

What are you trying to build? I can probably give you some good tips on whatever it may be.

Home depot carries the fiberglass resin. $20. per gallon, and you will probably need about 3 gallons (at least). The fleece you can get at a fabric/sewing shop. You will want to build the skeleton of the structure out of wood. When I get home (which will be late tonight) I'll draw up something and post it here.

Build the skeleton, kinda like this:

Now you will want to use a medium or high density fiberboard for the base and rings. For the legs, you can use any decent wood that is 1" x 1". After you build that, and set the rings where you want the subs to be, you will wrap it with fleece, stapling the fleece to the bottom. Staple the fleece around the rings. Cut the fleece out of the holes for the speakers. You want it to be tight and wrinkle free. Mix up the resin, and start painting it on. After you get some good coats, and it is stiff and dry, take a rasp and severely scuff the fiberglass around the rings ( the scuffs help the bondo to adhere to the glass). Use Bondo to fill the transitional places around the rings, and any air bubbles that you can see. Time to sand. And a lot of it. Wash well with a wet rag, and remove all dust left over from sanding. Use Glazing putty to fill all the micro air bubbles. Sand again. Work your way up to at least 600 gritPaint, and wet sand between coats to avoid "orange peel".Done. Install the speakers and enjoy!

Oh yeah, I forgot, you will want to cut port holes for the subs, usually 2"-3" and a square for the wire connections. Usually 2"x3". Use a router with a cutting bit to cut evenly and effortlessly.

You can buy port rings from Radio shack, I do believe.

I would do at least 4 coats of resin. Your first coat is most important. YOU NEED TO SATURATE THE FLEECE. Like soaking wet with resin all the way through. Otherwise it will not be strong.
