DIY eletronic boost controller? Anyone?

Are there any DIY Boost controller out there? like DIY FUEL CONTROLLER , DIY WIDEBAND 02.Isn it just like a Safc, it has a boost sensor, and a actuator, when the controller set at 14psi , and the boost sensor see that , then the actuator will open the vavle to open the wastegate? I just want to know if someone had done it, please don't post if you want to tell me don't take the risk blah blah blah... If I never want to take the risk, then I wouldn't turbo it in the first place. however , website or any information about it would be appericate. thank you

I bought the parts to do something like that, but never trusted it enough to install it. I used an adjustable pressure switch and a small air solenoid valve...just saw too many things that could go wrong.
