Good afternoon all,
Has been quite awhile since I have been on. Thank you all for the the inputs to my ECM question i posted back in March. That problem has been taken care of after I had to adjust to income changes and children's distance learning. So much fun.
I have many minor issues with my 2001 QX4 but thanks to everyone's posts I know i can navigate them here and learn from those posts.
Sorry that was a bit long-winded. My new question can anyone recommend a specific code reader I can purchase around $50? I just need it to read the codes and then the ability to reset.
Thank you
John

If you have a smartphone you can get a wifi or bluetooth OBD2 ELM327reader on ebay for around $10 or so.

There are several free apps you can get, I use the free version of "Car Scanner ELM OBD2".

Thank you for the response. Looking into that now. Finding out about the adapter I need.
