Just take it to the shop or your gonna make it worse. and unless you have a computer for it you could never get it near the right alignment

not true i can get it dead on with a string and a ruler but then again i have been doing alinments so long i can get it within a .5 degree of right on by just eyeballing it.

Most shops charge 20-40 for an alignment. You're telling me you can't afford that?

There's a race shop in my old home town that charged $35 for one of the best alignments around. The more adjustability, though, the more he charged. It was worth it.

Do it!!! I got tired of paying for multiple alignments before and now theres is no rack low enough or a pit anywhere around here. Is not a freaking science people. The egyptians also used string when building their perfect structures back in the day, man......

I always get consistent results measuring toe and camber but you really need a flat area to measure camber.

s13 Alignment

the coolest thing is you can google to get atan

Or paste this into google search and google will give you the answer:

atan(0.75/17) to degrees

Stupid question but are these alignment guys very smart? Does it take much training to do an alignment with computer. Seems like a lot of work to measure and then adjust tie rods etc.. Are there any checks and balances to ensure they have actually done it right?
