You're better off hoping that the cop doesn't show. I saw a traffic case just like yours the last time I was in court. It went like this:

Judge: What's the speed limit?Kid: 55.Judge: How fast were you going?Kid: 80.Judge: You idiot, you just admitted you're guilty.

You call that gettho?Generic coolant tank, generic cone filter, crappy plug wires (at least they're not blue), patched up radiator, single generic horn, Mis-matched MAF adapter stolen from an Injen air intake.

I do 70-75mph on I-95 with 65 limit, if anyone don't like it I give them middle finger cause it saves me gas to go in that speed. I get about 33mpg.

I'm fighting it tho...

after I got the ticket, I started driving and I picked up speed to 75pmh... everyone was swerving around and passing me up and giving me dirty looks like I'm purposely slowing down to piss them off!

seriously, on sunday mornings, speed of traffic is 80-85mph.

I'm recording it next sunday to show the judge... hopefully that will work
damn...usually i go that fast too cuz other people do...and i never see cops on freeways...i dunno why

What I don't understand is how cops in my area set up speed traps in the direction of rush hour... Meaning that in the morning they set up speed traps for people getting to work, slowing the flow of traffic down too soon, and making the rush hour that much worse... not to mention the rubber necking once they do pull some poor sap over for a minor speeding ticket. AND THEN they do the same thing in the other direction in the afternoon.

Often times I think they do not balance the 'safety' they think they are imposing on drivers with the problems their own presence tends to cause when in a speed trap.
