I recently boosted my S13 and in the process of dropping the new motor in I realized just how bad the harness had gotten as we moved it around, there were wires falling apart. When we tried to fire it up, it instantly drained the battery, and arcing and blowing fuses. So at that point I decided that this needed to be done.

But first, A question Is there a company that makes an aftermarket harness for the 240?

I don't think there is anyone who makes aftermarket ones.

I would suggest looking around here and checking craigslist/etc - you could always just repair a few wires but if it's going to be a lot of work it might almost be worth spending the $50 or so for a used wiring harness

Why would someone make an aftermarket harness when a OEM works fine. Never heard of high performance signal wires. Anyway yea craigslist or ebay should be able to find an engine harness for a fair price
