I once saw this stuff in a tv ad, and till date I still feel there is some sort of visual trickery involved with this stunt. If it is real, I commend the actors who make it happen.

With front-wheel-drive and a hand brake to spin the rear, I think this is feasible. However, you have to be a far better driver than I am.

To quote a friend who used to drive one of the original, British Mini Coopers, "If you're still in control, you're not going fast enough."

Yeah, it's from "Who Am I?"

I read somewhere that they teach this kind of thing in stunt driving schools. They set up cones to mimic the scenarios and have the students learnt he techniques to make it happen. I wish I could remember which magazine it wasn, but my gut tells me it was a really old issue of Road and Track.
