(CA forum guys liked the story so I thought I'd post it here too)

So, it's 3 am... me and Porschephile are bored. So we decide to install the RB26 and T04R into the Z, but we quickly remember we don't wanna die on the highway doing a 200mph burnout sideways. Dig through the piles of turbos, maxima parts, engines, the other half of a 240Z and we find a boost gauge install kit. So we're looking around and there's the gauge. So we install it in his brother's CA S13, or at least we tried to. After a few minutes of fiddling around with a bunch of fittings that make no since (Sunpro gauge ). We opt to go to my house and vulture my Greddy gauge off my SR

:D

So at 3 am we are out tinkering on a car in the middle of the night with hoods open on two, doors, etc. We generally look like a bunch of car thieves lol.

Voila, 2 extension fittings later we install the 6' boost controller signal line under the hood, through the passanger window (JDM style yo).

Only one problem, we can't see it! So we crack out the flashlight

Imagine this, some poor looking S13 driving down the street with some guy holding a boost gauge out the window looking at it with a flashlight.

So we go hunting!

Travis's first kill was a 305 powered Pontiac Formula w/ flows. We pulled him so hard that the horrific misshift, that sounded like the gearbox just fell off the car, into 3rd didn't even allow him to catch up lol.

So we're feelin good, having killed one of the slowest GM sports cars ever with our turbo engine swapped S13. So we roll up next to an EVO (after pulling a JDM style U-turn with the wheel (note: singular) roasting through first). We get next to him and Travis downshifts to 2nd, at about 5.5k rpms. He clearly looks so hardcore that he does not feel the aura of sheer asphault destroying force our CA has. So we follow him down the street, accelerate in front of him and he "seems" to give chase when we turn onto a popular straight, but no go, our 5.5k driving RPMs intimidate the mighty EVO and we haul butt down the road to test out our boost gauge of death. She's peakin at .8 kg/cm2 (11.3 psi) and holds steady to redline with at least .5 kg/cm2. Not bad for the condition of the turbo (we got an SR turbo we's gonna toss on there).

Now it's my turn. I get in the beast, Travis takes over the mad tight JDM gauge holder position, and we're off. I drive around lookin for some people to destroy. No luck yet, until we stop at the light and this lady pulls up next to us in a Dodge Intrepid. So naturally I know she is gonna race me. I take pre-emtive measures and drop the hammer from 2k. Our "T70" turbo bogs hard as the mighty 1.8L of fury tries to push the turbine. Suddenly before the Intrepid pulls ahead, God aka Mr. K himself, reaches down and hits the NOS and we pull a sudden comback as I proceed to put about 14 football fields (ok it was more like 2 cars) on her as I ran it up to the speedlimit. From the exhaustion of destroying some of the fastest vehicles on the road (at 4 am lol), we pull into Whataburger to regain our strength. I order a large Dr. Pepper, and Travis, who is obviously strained from his battle with the mighty Formula, orders a number 8.

And out we go again.

Our first incounter was another V8 domestic. A powerful torque beast F250! It's early 90s body styling didn't fool us. We know it's packin a 302 under the hood! And it had an anti-lag misfiring system as well, which means he must be going turbo soon (Oh Noes!!11!). So he gets behind me and begins to trail us, Tokyo Extreme Racer style. I naturally recognize the challenge and downshift into 2nd and run it up to 100 (km/h hehe). Chalk one up for the mighty CA.

Driving around some more we find our next victim at a stoplight, a Corvette Z06. His V8 is no match for the CA as we proved before we can outrun them twice. So I pull onto the road and boot the throttle some to get him to come chance. Further down the road he pulls next to us, and I immediately down shift to even the field. I sensed him about to downshift so I pushed the pedal through the floorboard and we shot off like a rocket. He didn't want none. He too fears the mighty CA.

We pull into a gas station to let the racing engine cool. While Travis devours his 9 lb. hamburger. Before leaving we spot some other racing machines. Then a clean Jetta III pulls into the gas station so I wait till he gets out and drive out with a spool. He didn't want none either. Back out on the road we go.

We drive around and we find nothing to dominate. So we start on the way back to the garage and come across our final kill of the night. To my left I see a V8 Chevy Blazer pullin a trailer, must be a drag car! So I downshifted into 3rd and drug him. Chalk another domestic kill for the almighty CA.

All hail the CA!

They had that JDM Tyte boost gauge and a magical flashlight to see the boost gauge. That just scared the Z06 off. :rolleyes

That is one of the funniest things I have had the opportunity to read in a while. :ylsuper

I like the fact that you intimidated the Evo and Z06. They were probably scared of the mad tyte JDM boost gauge you had hooked up. :help
