I'm going to install a haltech E6k on my '95 ka24det. I'm having trouble figuring out how to wire it into the distributor. Has anyone done this that can help me out with some info? or can someone helpme out with what each of the wires going into the distributor are for? Any help would be appreciated.

I wired one awhile back but I had a FSM (Factory Service Manual). If you don't have one you should get one or borrow one because I don't know the exact color of wires to tap into. You need to find the trigger wire going to the internal coil and the signal output wire coming from the optical trigger CAS (Crank Angle Sensor) inside of the distributor I think there is a connector on the side of the dist. that leads to the coil. The wire coming from the CAS should mate with the TRIGGER input wire to the E6K. The coil wire should mate with the IGN OUT wire. You could all together get rid of the stock ignition set up and go with a waste spark system by buying two waste spark ignition modules and wiring them directly to each cylinder instead of using the stock internal coil. You'll get more power out of those anyways but you still need to keep the distributor attached for the TRIGGER input to the E6K. Hope that helps. Good luck!!!!
