I mixed up the wires and do not know the order. On the cap there is the 4 wire outlets - the coil outlet, and the nub on the cap that is facing down. Can anyone please tell me the correct order?

Think of it like this on the distributor....

4 ................ 3

........................ ----->firewall

2 ............... 1

(down here is the left front tire)

okay, so it rotates counter-clockwise - thx for the diagram it helped. Addl ?, I rotated the crank angle sensor in order to test my injectors, this wouldn't mess up the timing - right? Cause the groove on the sensor can only match up one way to the crank rod thing from the engine or ....

The cam position sensor is on the distributor...the crank position sensor is behind the motor on the bellhousing.

I'm assuming you're talking about the cam position sensor?

I'm calling it what the FSM calls it. The rotating rod that goes into the block that connected to and behind the distributor.
