I recently look my lower right timming chain off to get rid of the rattles. but in the process, I forgot to mark the distributor. so the car wont start now.... :( what is the easiest way to fix that and get the car running again?

s13? s14? engine? year? etc etc...

If its an s13 ka24de there are marks on the dizzy shaft 180 degrees apart. One of them has a small dimple right next to it.
While youre pushing it in line the dimple up with the mark on the shaft and push it in with the rotor on the dizzy so that the two marks line up.
When its all the way in the marks line up and the rotor should be pointing at number one on the cap(rotor faces forward and kind of down.)

searching is your friend. this has been covered many many times.
