Distributor question

I'm doing a tune up but i need to know if my distributor is a mitsubishi or a hitachi? how can i tell, and what's the difference?

look on the rotor. there should be the mitsubishi diamond symbol on the top I think. If there isn't, then you have hitachi

yeah just look on the distributor cap and you should see the diamond logo
