Distributor Question

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Ive read all the distributor threads and nuthing. my question is: is it suppose to be set at 0 Deg or 20 Deg. i see put it on 0 and i see put it on 20 so which one is it! . i have a 91 with a ka24de it gets fuel and spark. it is throwing a code for 11 12 and 34 if i read it right. this is my first 240sx and its about to be my last if i cant get it starte.

ok tested the cam position sensor cause it was throwing a code for it i hope i grabbed the right wires but i got 4.9v every 360 Deg turn. the rest .14x v

your dizzy should be set to fire on #1 when the crank is at 20 degree's before top dead center.....this answer would have been found sire in 2 seconds if ya looked at the cam timing sticky on top...good luck sire and welcome to nicco!

So make sure its on 0 TDC on compression stroke not exhaust. oviously. pull the dizzy put crank on 20 Deg then put the dizzy on. post that link please

look up top on the stickie post for jim wolf cam timing..its at the top of this forum

its a simple question and the top stickie is cam adjustment, something im not lookin for. Maybe someone else can help me out. thanks for your help liquid cool
