Ok my dist. went out and after I got a new one I am wondering something. Ok when the dist. goes back in does it have to be at TDC(0 degrees) or at what the ignition timing is supposed to be at for the auto(18-22 degrees)? You know when the pointer and the marks on the pulley, do they need to be at the TDC or between 15 and 20 degrees? Someone(an old timer) said it needs to be at TDC before you stab the dist. then advance the timing to what it needs to be...Which one you think guys?
