I was fed up with the points and serching for a new option I found that for about $150 you can resolve you problems using one out of a 1980 datsun pick up you just have to do a little wiring and put the plug wire on 180 degrees from stock because the distributor has to be mouted 180, the vacume advance is in the wrong spot after that the mouting plate needs a little mod but nothing you can't do with out a welder.  you don't need the balast resistor anymore and gust need to power the teminals on the ignition modual.
