car ran mest up it ran like it was not getting spark to one cylinder befor i blew a tire. after i blew the tire i went to replace it, i tried to start car it sounded like fowled spark plugs and a dying battery not wonting to start, after setting for a day. i try to jump start it but it did the same. i tryd to change the cap but it did the same thing. i change the distributor and timed it like the book seed and now it wont start or do nothing. I've tried both distributor "off my spair motore and the won that was on the car" and adjust timing. can you tell me what might be the problem, i have no clue. i think it might be the coil. it wont start at all.

it just turns over, it sound like it is not getting proper spark.

pull a plug out, hold it against the side of the block away from the spark plug hole with a well insulated pair of pliers. see if it makes a spark.
