Hello people got yet another question for yoy "Z" gurus. Ok, I need to know what is the stock position of the distributor where you retard and advance the ignition timing. As you looking down at the distributor from the drivers side, on what side of the oval is the screw? Currently mine sits all the way to the right so i dont know if its retarded or advanced.

It's going to vary from car to car. You can read the instructions for setting the timing in the Haynes manual or factory service manual.
