Distributor Cap Type?

Searching for the difference between HITACHI and MITSUBISHI type distributor caps.

The manufacturer, BOSCH for instance, is the same...the type, listed above, is different.

Without purchasing both and comparing, how do I tell which one is correct for a 1990 5 spd?

I'd just get a bosch... if ur that concerned, why not buy both, they're not that expensive anyway.

Only way to tell is take your cap off and see which it is. 1990's couldve come with either.

Hmmm...that really doesn't answer my question. Which type of BOSCH is what I was looking for. Currently I have the good old generic brand on there (meaning there is no way to tell which style it is). I replaced it a year ago...already showing excessive wear.
