Distributor cap & rotor VS fuel pump VS ignition module

Hi, I have 1997 Pathfinder 4x4, and lately it started to stall on me, it stalls when it worms up a little, then i can start it back up, and it will die again. It does better in PARK (runs longer), but once in gear dies quickly. I replaced spark plugs, fuel filter, and checked all vacuum lines. no luck. I guess my next step would be to check distributer cup and rotor, fuel pump. I also read on internet about "ignition module", does someone know what it is and where it is located ?. I guess any advice would help.thanks
