on a 95 and up engine do you have to use the s14 distributer or can you use a s13 one on a s13 or do you have to change the main center gear to a s13 one where the distributer goes in?

if the ecu/wiring harness is from an S14(95+) going into an S13 engine, you have to use the S14 distributor, you can however, wire up an S13 distributor to work with S14 wiring/ecu.

both have the same trigger disc and optical sensor. s14 has an internal coil and power transistor, while the s13 is external. if you can figure out the changes needed for this, you can do it and then have the upgraded coil options, if not, you're SOL, pay me to do it
