The cam angle sensor in my 95 KA went out. I have borrowed a friends distributer but need to give it back. The question I have is will a distributer/ cam angle sensor from a 92 DOHC work on my 95? Im not sure if there would be problems with OBD1 to OBD2. I found 1 for $30, its alot less than $300. Just wanna make sure it will work.

Yes the distributor can work with your 95 motor but the distributor on the 91 motor and your 95 motor must be on the outside of the head for it to work. Meaning the dustributor is not inside of the head like most of the newer obd2 ka motors. Hope that helps

So uhhh i have no clue what the guy that who was telling you it will work is talking about.....

On the off note they will not work, the dizz on a 92 ka requires a 5th sparkplug for an ignitor...s14 distributers have one internally eliminating the need for the 5th plug... Put simply it's a no go, there are quite a few parts on s14s that aren't swappable with an s13... That's one of them

I knew the SOHC had the fifth wire, but was hoping that it would work on all DOHC KA's. I talked to the guy who has it, he said there is 4 wires..... I dunno . Will have to check it out tomorrow.
