I've been reading the FAQ and stickies but still have a question. I ended up at heavy throttle link from the FAQ where it's talking about the z32 maf wiring and the issues that I could have if the maf is wired the wrong way.

Could someone please tell me how I would be able to identify the maf that I currently have? Once again I'm sorry if this is a noob question.

The car starts right now and runs but it dies because the idle control valve is absent. I'm trying to get everything running smooth before taking the car out on the road and daily driving it. Thanks.

It does have a orange tag on the side. It reads the following:

22680 30P00 A36-000 N62

2508B
Jecs

The maf plug has 4 pins under the letters: B, C, D, E

Thank you.

theres 2 z32 mafs. theres a blue label which is an n60 and theres an orange label n62 which is the twin turbo maf. to run either of these youll either need a) an safc 1, 2, or neo to calibrate it in for the ecu under the sensor number selection (4in 7out i believe) or b) youll need a computer rom/tune that will calibrate the new maf in for the ecu ie Nistune, Enthalpy, or Jim Wolf Technology which is what i run and yes, i have the same maf. If your IAC is blocked off adjust the throttle body open to reach your desired idle speed but it wont be perfect since at that point the computer will no longer have control over the idle speed
