Distance to Empty Way Off

Hi There,

I have a brand new 2008 Pathfinder LE with the V8. Is there a way to recalibrate the "Distance to Empty" on the trip computer (not in the instrument cluster but the center dash computer)? I have tried the reset fuel consumption feature, and am considering disconnecting the battery but want to see if there is another way. I am getting a 0 miles to Empty when I have over 1/4 tank remaining. The dealership seemed to not have an answer. Thanks in advance.

I could be wrong, but doesn't this feature have to be "learned" by the computer? Maybe after running a few tanks of gas, and teaching the system how much you get per tank, will straighten it out. Just a hunch.
