Whats your experience with distance drives on the CA, drives over 10hrs strait.

Any issues, any concerns. When I take a drive I drive. I'm driving my Altima back to Jersey took me 18hrs to drive from North NJ to Central florida, i drove strait, will be repeating that next week. But i was wondering how would the CA with it's crazy crusing RPM deal with hard prolonged driving. I do have a Trans and Oil cooler i'm putting on( motor is still being preped to put in).

And while at it lets hear your long distance stories if any.

well, your going to be making this trip next week, but your motor is still not in the car? i wouldnt recommend it because that doesnt seem like you would have any kinks worked out in time and you could find yourself stranded. now, if this is hypothetical and your just wondering if the car would make it, of course, any car that is maintained shouldnt have a problem with a long drive. the driver on the other hand might not be able to take it. i once delivered my buddies' 02 sentra ser spec v to him in tacoma washington from san diego. 24 hours with a 1 hour nap. i consider his car easy to drive long distance because its mostly stock suspension. i dont think i could have done it in my 240 without more breaks.

I've been to OK and back in mine at least twice. It's 4hrs each way. No problems and managed 35mpg as well.

I have just recently gotten all my cooling system bugs worked out (and it only took 1.5 years and about $700 lol) but previoulsy, my longest trip was about 3 hours round trip. Haha. Good luck! I hate driving long distances!
