dissasemble shift selector handle '12 Sentra Auto

Vehicle is a 2012 Sentra auto. I was wondering if anyone has ever attempted to disassemble the shift selector handle? I didn't see anything in the service manual, and will probably have to replace the assembly. I just wanted to check and see if anyone has tried taking it apart, looks like it might need some heat. Thanks.

Figured it out. A nylon pry bar, and a little pressure around the plastic that surrounds the buttons did the trick. The spring was bound up and would not allow the button to depress all the way. We'll see how this holds up. Cheers!
