I posted up about my new turbo setup cause I was excited to have it and see what kind of power it will put out, and the moderators give me "advice" based on what they "know" and treat me like I haven't owned a ca18det for years with multiple turbo setups on it already, including stainless manifolds. I respectfully disagree with them so they lock the thread because I don't need thier "advice?"
I don't recall asking for anyone's advice in the first place, I was jut seeing if anyone had any useful comments on my turbo setup and I wanted to show it off a little... If you don't have any useful comments then you don't have to post, but its just disrespectful to use the privileges of a moderator to lock down a thread because the poster has different ideas about exhaust and flex pipe based on his years of experience.
Rico is right man, don't try and make me look like the bad guy here and don't try that "abusing moderators privileges" crap because that's not the case. You seem to have already had the answer to your issues, but yet you solicit feedback from others. You want answers, we'll help you as best we can can. But when you ask for answers and still go against the opinions and comments of the members of this forum, you basically locked your own thread and basically told us thanks, but no thanks.
To each his own with the flex pipe/non flex pipe issue because it is your car, so do whatever the hell you want. Just don't put questions out in the forum and expect a response that's catered to your ego or experience. I don't know you and have never seen you post here (maybe I overlooked you), but to try and call me out for locking your thread that really didn't need our responses is just plain out of line.
Why don't you go back and read your own thread's history and check your ARROGANCE as we as a collective group try and offer our "comments/opinions" and maybe you'll see why it was senseless to carry on a dead thread. Remember, we kinda feed off each other here and the best way to learn is to listen and comprehend. If you don't want to do neither, why even bother putting it out there to see what people's opinion is. Or did you just post that stuff to be an @$$ because I'm pretty sure in the eyes of others, you come off in your thread as a "Know-it-all" prick and if that title fits you, you'll get a few more threads locked by other members of our mod team, so just like rico says, TREAD LIGHTLYwhen trying to accuse anyone of anything.
