i hope im not asking something that has already been answered....

my fascia is going to be installed next week, and i was wondering, for those who have it, did you guys drill holes on it and put your license plates there or do you just display it on the dashboard? is it legal to display it on the dashboard? I know it might take away from the look of the fascia if you put the license frame there..thats why im just thinking about keeping it on the dashboard..but if its illegal I don't want to get pulled over one day by an uptight cop then have him give me a fine for that...and maybe even a repair order for my Greddy's noise level if hes in a bad mood.then if he notices my tints....which are only 30 percent but its still illegal..catch my drift?

what you guys think??

If I'm reading this right.. why not put it on the back of your vehicle?

Some states require both ... such as Washington ... otherwise it will cost you $$$$ for Failure to Display front plate.

Not sure how much room these coupes have down there, But I've seen once where a guy with a Camaro folded and mounted his to the air dam underneath the car *shrug*. Aside from that, what about putting it behind the bumper in the opening near the bottom (drill holes in it if you need air to pass through!HAHA!) Just a couple thoughts so you dont have to de-face your new face so to speak

Whats good homie, im in Baltimore, and when Stillen makes the grille and splitters, I am getting them along with their front lip. I will not put the license plate on the front. If anything I will find a clean way to mount it in the dash, or inside of the windshield.

there isnt much space to put that bracket. i already scrape the bottom of the front bumper going around some of the parking lot, let alone attaching something below that. It'll fall off somewhere lol

Every province in Canada with the exception of Alberta, Quebec and PEI require licenses on both front and back, if I am not mistaken.

I installed my fascia yesterday. I held the factory plate holder in the centre of the bumper and drilled two (very) small holes through the mounting holes.

Here's the laws for our state:

http://apps.leg.wa.gov/RCW/def...6.240

Can cost you $124.00 if you get cited for it.

No front license plate. I really don't have an excuse other than I hate front license plates. The whole active duty navy thing gets me off of those stupid, front license plate, tint, illegal mods, tickets

Nope, was pulled over once for no rear license plate. Was told about all the tickets he could have gave me, yada yada, he was a nice guy, so he let me go with no tickets. Could have been, no front, no rear, illegal tint, and expedition of power ( I accelerated to fast )
