Whats the temperature where you live? Sometime right when I start my car up and its freezing all the displays are slow responding, even the radio lcd screen. We get really cold weather here though.

I did have the Auto Headlights on but it was 9 o'clock at night and it was about 35 degrees outside. The first time I noticed it, I was running on empty and on my way to the gas station when it went blank and this was 2 o'clock in the afternoon w/o the Auto headlights on. I have no idea. I guess I will just keep an eye on it and see if I can get some video of it, because you know it won't happen while at the 'Stealership'!

mine would be dim for a long time n sometimes would get bright like normal. had to finally take it to the dealer n they replaced the whole cluster. they said that there was a problem with it. take it to the dealer. i took a pic of it dim so they wouldnt think i was lying and took it when it was dim cuz i know if i took it when it was acting normal they would say nothing is wrong with it

I did not take ownership of my coupe yet, but I believe there are 2 settings

One is for lights on and one for lights off. Use the dimmer to adjust both

Umm....... What????

It dims and gets brighter on its own weather the lights are on or not and it not the whole gauge cluster, just the display under the speedo.

Update:I found a TSB on Nissanhelp.com and I have contacted the dealer to set up an appointment. It doesn't look too hard to fix on your own, but I also want them to look at the airbag light recall thing while I am there so hopefully this will fix it.

You've stirred my curiosity : let me know how they fix it.

Also what is this airbag light recall? Haven't found anything on google.
