Display Question??????

My info screen on my dash says blacke light inoporative ive changed the fuse and everythings working great except that it still says stop light inoporative, does any1 know how to reset it. thanks

p.s. the display im talking about is the red screen under the gauges.

Lots of posts on this one... You want to use OEM or Sylvania LL bulbs. Don't forget the CHMSL (center high mount stop light) too.

The stop lamp sockets tend to overheat and melt. Pull the bulbs and look at each bulb socket and (female) receptacle. Chances are one has melted and will need replacing. Ditto for using Sylvannia LL bulbs also and no crummy aftermarket bulbs. Good luck.

Don't forget the unit next to the trunk latch may need to be re-soldered as well if the problems persist.

Buy a new bulb cluster. $20 at the dealer, comes with bulbs too.

i just had this lovly problem myself, i went to the back of my tail lamp and detatched the white plastic piece in the back that had the bulbs on it, i unstrewed evertying and put it back together, re steated all the bulbs and it worked, bad connection had developed, try doing that, may be a bad ground
