I'm gonna go with a no on that one haha. not turboed or looks built only thing is he put it in a lighter chassis. maybe it would beat ka24 sorry couldn't help taking a stab at u ka guys i'm messing, then again the ka puts about the same torque down but not as much hp. i stil cant see y u would do this to me it would be not worth it when u already had a capable motor y not go from there. this coming from a guy that would never touch a ka for boost. i would rather do than touch that monstrosity

you all forget that this guy is in france. he had nothing but trouble with the stock ca and sr parts are hard to come by over there. so he installed something that he was really familiar with and had the aftermarket to support his decision. stop getting all butt hurt over something that someone else did to their car. the h22 is a superior motor to the ka anyhow. to top it off, it's an even lighter car than the one it came out of.

here's a thought as to why he picked that motor...BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT HE WANTED TO DO WITH HIS FREAKING CAR!!!!!!! you guys don't like it and are sitting here making suggestions as to what he should have done. WHO CARES? you have your cars, build them however your little hearts desire, in the end, guess what, there will be hundred of people hating on them. why? because that's not what they would have done. i'm seriously done with this thread now, the level of ignorance, immaturity, and fanboyism is really getting annoying.

Qft.

Since, i've been here i have noticed to things...1) if you wanted to do anything "unique" to your car...it WILL be frowned upon by a lot of people2) Creativity is absent here.

Sure, a honda motor in a 240 isn't my thing but as for the work that was put into it. It was really done well, and I would congratulate that owner for putting so much effort into it.

I think the H22 motor in the 240 is pretty cool. I would choose other motors over that, but just the thought of the work and time put into that is sick! Now the S2000 motor in the 240 is sick!!!

Nah really though from one fabricator to another, this guy probably went through hell and back to figure this one out. Kudos.

waste of time, waste of fabrication skills. Car is garbage. everything looks ghetto as f**k.

end of story.

Idea is out there but being original and creative isnt allways cool. Woulda been better off to just stick with a KA or an SR. Maby swap a VQ or **** even an LS1 and all would probably have better results.

Look at the interior. 9 differnt types of mismatched gauges hagardly placed. sh!ts fugging gay.

true it's called the internet, you can find anything and get what you need. if it was so much more of a PITA than SR's and CA's I bet it still would have been easier than what he did. again, props for doing it, but it was retarded.

lost hope in us using honda engines? in trying to fit the square peg in the round hole? the excuse that he used that engine instead something that was built for the car doesn't make sense. that's what bugs me, not really that he did it. you have to be pretty damn smart to make all that work. the reason behind it is what i have a problem with.

by your logic, anyone who drops a 1/2jz or ls1 or vg or vq or rb is retarded for installing x motor into an s-chassis because it wasn't meant to be in there? we are involved in the car modding and customizing world. he modified his car and made it custom to what he wanted. that's what we all do. for example, i don't like mesh wheels at all, they look outdated and remind me of crappy pontiacs and grand cherokees. when someone makes a thread all excited about their new mesh wheels, i don't go in there going on about how stupid it looks, how ugly it makes their car, etc. that person chose the wheels that they wanted on their car. it made them happy, end of story.

sirsilvia, that entire rant wasn't aimed at you. i reread your post and understood it better the second time around. i meant that i lost hope in the fact that most of the people who frequent 240gen are very close-minded when it comes to being creative and innovative. there wouldn't be pre-fabbed mounts kits for lsx engines, or toyota engines, or nissan engines for that matter, if someone hadn't gone against the grain and tried something new. if this is how you guys view the world outside of cars, i feel really bad for you and i really do fear for the future of society.

Wow, are you serious? No sir, you are......dude.......no uhhhh........wow, im actually at a loss of words right now. Congratulations.

This thread wasn't going anywhere, and then this so called learned'd crew found their way into here (a.k.a. egotistical cyber-raping forum pricks) and it just went all to hell.

This thread absolutely contributes nothing...it deserves to be locked.

we didn't come in here and talk trash about anyone. i found this thread and all i read was, in short form, "honda sucks" "zomg they ruined a disposable car sent on earth by the heavens!11111!!!!!!!111!!!!" "wtfbbq blasphemy". all i'm trying to suggest is that some of you succumb to creativity a little. remember all that talk about being yourself when you were a kid? well guess what, you aren't doing it by taking what one person did and bashing it because it's not what you would have done. i don't come in here anymore because everyone is so damned hypocritical. everyone's personal opinion is the truth. someone asks which engine would be better. you all tell them to research and pick what works for them (the right answer). but when they do research and finish that swap, or rebuild, or whatever, and try to show off their work, you guys sit there and tell them what they should have done instead. i fail to see how what someone does on the other side of an entire ocean does has any effect on you at all.
