Lol... old :p

That's a rally car from NZ, JDM VH41DE.

I can't remember much else about it though, but it's a reasonably nice build. I'll hunt around and see if I can find the article about it, it was in a magazine with a write up. It didn't have extensive mods either.

Here we go guys, here's the article:

Funny thing is, it's not any more hardcore than any of our setups on here, apart from the rollcage & race setup!

Yea, the hood is too much for me, but with shorter runners before the ITBs it might be possible to get the whole setup under the stock hood. Slick setup though...

shorter runners = shifted power band...and not for the better.having a very short runner intake manifold on my rb20 its not that great, riding in stock rb20's feel faster because of the long runner manifolds they have...just generate more torque so much earlier than i do, its nearly 6k before it really feels like it goes.

yea thats true but on a 4.5 ids imagine the loss wouldnt be as apparent. My idea would be to curve the runners so you still clear the hood but do not loose runner length

if you have them angle towards each runner, and have them go in a criss cross pattern, that might work.
