I have a question about discount tire. I have never used them, and have a question about their price match guarantee. Do they price match online prices? I found a really good deal on Nitto Tires http://www.onlinetires.com/pro....html But if I have to pay $80 for shipping, it comes to the same as what I can get them local for.

they match online prices but then they charge you to get them there.... yes....

99% of the time it ends up being the same price.... so you might as well just get them from discount at the normal price

i always look at discount as a great company and wouldn't go anywhere else... but the pricing can tend to blow....

Just give them a call and ask them. You got nothing to lose. There are a lot of rebates this time of year. Try to take advatage if you can.

Just don't pound nails into the sidewalls of your tires and go for a tire replacement. If you don't do that you'll be fine. And if you do don't post it on the internet.

Sometimes they do, sometimes they dont.

Last set of Falkin 615's I got they wouldn't

He tried, but when he called his supplier he said that he couldn't even get them as cheap as vulcantires.com and recommended I just buy them online and bring them in to be mounted.

They charged me to ship a pair of Yokos... turns out that when I went back for the other two, I told them to ship it regualr - no charge for that method.

Lost three lugs off of my POS LeBaron - broke the hubcap.

Did not torque down my locking lugs on the wife's Odyessy. Lost one.

Lost a lug on my car, replaced it with non-matching.

I watch them like a FN hawk now - I'd go else where but that do have good prices. Watch them.

f*** discount tires....

they suck, all big tire distributors are crap.

they dont stock anything I ever need nor can they ever order what I need. I have to troll craigslist for good used tires.

I guess if youre using the same tire size as the masses youre okay. If not, tell them to suck it

Discount Tire price-matches Tire-Rack for example, but will add the shipping into the calculations to make it comparable. The last time I did this, they gave me an additional $5 off per tire because they had to bring the tires from another store and it took them some extra time to do that.

The reason I went for them rather than using Tire Rack like I have done in the past, was to get (this was additional cost, of course) the replacement guarantee they have.

(And, no, I don't plan to drive nails into my tires for fraudulent purposes when the tires are done being used ... and, yes, I am publicly saying that on the Internet.)
