T3 has a 1992 Q motor that came out of a wreck we purchased.Byron did: New guides [old ones were not broken], new hoses, new water pump, valve covers resealed, new knock sensors/harness, new head gaskets [piston tops and block surfaces clean to as brand new], new plugs, new front and rear seals, oil sump and pickup cleaned and resealed. But it has 160k all domestic in Atlanta miles.

As June's deal for Nico: T3 will swap this motor into your 90-93 for $3950 including tax since we really didn't pay anything for the motor [other than $2100 in parts and labor to rehabilitate] [got the whole car for $750].

If someone doesn't buy this motor it will end up into one of the T3 fleet. [The owner already has 3 Q, a M30 convertible, a couple of G20 and an LS400].We haven't had a customer for a newish 90-93 engine in over a year. Did 2 94-95 swaps in the last 12 months but that's been it......seems like all we are getting is ES300 and GS300 and LS400 engine jobs now.

Hey Dennis

I really would love to get that motor.

I just drove the Q from Georgia to NY and it drove like a dream.

So I could imagine with a car not blowing smoke out of the exhaust.

I was wondering if it is possible to work out some sort of a payment plan with you. Something along the lines of me putting down $1000 dollars and working out the rest.

Actually T3 wants the exchange labor [25 hours x 70=$1750] just selling the engine is a wash at best because of all the remanned labor/parts put in it.

You can buy a lower miles JDM take out for $1500 then labor and parts for guides knock sensors, hoses, water pump, valve and oil pan reseals means $3000...............the labor and parts we already have in the engine currently is $2900.

Pulling the heads and new gaskets [head, intake, runner, exhaust] are never done on a JDM engine so this exercise just about washed with us having [not directly paying for ] engine.

The actually swap can be done in 12 hours labor since all the rehabbing has already been done.

Unfortunately T3 doesn't offer a time payment plan.

Pito,

See if you can take out a personal loan to get the engine swap. I can't imagine it taking too long to pay off $4,000, especially if you already have 1k to put down...so it would be $3k.

I wish I could but there are no banks that are granting my request for $4000.
