Ok so I was changing my cats to some test pipes when I noticed my knock sensor was disconnected and the car drives fine no problems or check engine light. Should I connect it? Or leave it as is. Car runs strong like it is.

Car runs strong is good... under normal conditions your engine should not kmock.... only if some else goes bad then the engine might start knocking (not good). in which case the knock sensor will signal the icm to detune the engine alittle until the knocking stops.. so 99.9% of the time the knock sensor is doing nothing. But you do need sometimes so I would reconnect it...To test it out, with engine idling take a small hammer and rapp on the engine block like it is a drum... the engine rpm will slow down...

Reconnect it. It prevents engine damage if detonation occurs at high RPM.
