Okay, I searched and found out some info pertaining to this, but not a whole lot. My original T25 that came with my motor blew a seal the first 100 miles, so I needed to get a new turbo. My GT28RS should be here tommorow. My question is how much boost can I run with this turbo having Stock Injectors, Maf, and ECU. I do have a Walbro Fuel Pump and FMIC. Thanks a lot. How do people like the "Disco Potato"?

Sadly my turbo is a bit more low tech S15 t28.

My setup is similar, Walbro, fmic, stock 370's. I also have a wideband, I definatly wouldnt recommend going higher than 12psi. I dont know how the flow is on that compaired to my little turbo, but 12 pushes the MAF to the max and my injectors into the high 80% duty cycle. 10 might even be the safest way.

I assume you mean the turbo on ssautochrome's site? If not then I am not in with the lingo man. They call it a "Disco French Fry" though.

It is a t25/t28 hybrid as far as i know, it should have early boost and great midrange power tapering off a little at top end just like the stock turbo does a little.

Nah, def not from SSautochrome. This is the Legit version of the Disco Potato. GT28RS. Supposedly very streetable and hardly no lag. Hopefully good for 300whp. Anwyay, does 12 pounds sound safe enough without leaning out too much with my previously mentioned mods?

I'm no expert, but with stock injectors you will be running at a high % duty cycle at 12 lbs. I would upgrade to slightly larger injectors especially if you plan on running that way as normal.

My Friend TS4L on this site has the DP and stock injectors, this weekend we put a wideband in and we're going to install his bigger injectors, but didn't have the time to tune it so we drove it and looked at Duty Cycle and A/F ratio's, at .9 bar he was staying at a consistent 11.8:1 however I would say to stay around 10-12, he also doesn't have a stock MAF or intake manifold, but I would say you could probably get away with 12. If you can I would get on a dyno to make sure its not leaning out, you might want to make sure you have good wiring to your fuel pump too! Its a fun turbo for quick spool, I have a GT3076R so his car feels way different, quick spooler and pretty good mid range! I think you should enjoy it!

Thanks for the Help. I do have one additional Question. Do I have to run the coolant line to the turbo? Or can I just run the oil line??

The GT28RS turbo is water cooled. You will need to run your stock water lines to it as well as the oil.
