Stillen has their "Black Friday" specials going on this week. Today (Monday) is their Exhaust sale. Their everyday "sale" price is $987.33 (for the near cat-back system). TODAY ONLY it's $888.60 (10% off). Big whoop if you ask me!

I planned to purchase both the exhaust and intake (on Friday). Assuming the intake is also 10% off (won't know until Friday), that would be $447.75 instead of $497.50. Total savings on both -- a whopping $148.48!

Sorry, but these aren't door busting Black Friday specials in my book -- and definitely not enough to get me to jump the gun.

Yeah it's still $100 off, I might have to pull the trigger. Most Black Friday "sales" aren't really sales anymore.

Agreed -- I'm more upset that I waited a year to pull the trigger then to find out it's only 10% off. I miss the good ol' days when "Black Friday" and "Door Buster" actually meant something. I'm not going to cry over missing a 10% off deal.

Stillen's accountants will be happy that things are black for them!

I wouldn't complain about getting a discount on something you otherwise would have paid full price for. wth? I'll take the $150 if you can part ways with it.

I guess we've all gotten used to those crazy Black Friday deals at stores so Stillen's deals don't seem that great. I guess something is better than nothing. I just wish they had more product for the Y51 platform.

Yeah something is better than nothing but only 10% off for a so-called black friday sale didn't get me to buy yet. I've seen 15% for fathers day and 20% coupons in the past so I'll be waiting a bit longer. Traditionally black friday deals are expected to be the best but this is clearly not the case anymore. This close to the holidays I can't justify spending close to a grand on myself (married folks should understand). I'll have to hope for a good deal in the spring.

Oh I'm with you completely. I've put all the mods on hold until all the Christmas lists are taken care of. I'll probably make most of my auto-related purchased between January and March.

Most black Friday deals are on items that are mass produced or are cheaper versions of regular items that have been made specifically for black Friday. Chances are the Stillen's products are not built in the number necessary for huge discounts to make sense to them. They are also not competing with other retailers in the same way clothing and electronic stores are so they don't need to drop their prices so low. %10 off is probably enough to boost sales some and convince people who have been holding out to pull the trigger and place the order.
