disappearing parts near intake mani...possible black hole

is there some sort of black hole near the intake manifold on a ka24de? i dropped a good sized o ring somewhere around the intake yesterday and its GONE. i looked everywhere! i ran my hand over everything looking for the damn thing with no luck. i jacked my car up twice looking under it. moved the car. i was hoping that there was a common place where things like that disappear to. anybody know of this black hole?

i really didn't want to start a thread just for this, but i couldnt get any answers in other threads. any help is appreciated...

Get another o ring, install it, and the o ring you lost will then show up. Thats how things work for me.

oh i know. thats how it always works with lost things. ive already ordered a new one, but i would just like to know where the hell this one went.

I've dropped a few things there too. Think I found one tucked inside the engine mount bracket somewhere, and one near an alternator bracket. (sr)

it only took jacking the car up 3 times and 2 or 3 hours to find it, but i did. thanks for the tips
