Disabling the stock rec. valve

hey i wanted to know if anyone can give me an idea to disabling the stock recir. valve on the smic , since i will be running a nice hotpipe with an atmospheric BOV. I did some searching but nothing really was found .

take the vav line that is connected to the recirc, and connected to your new bov. Tada

If your venting into the atnosphere, then take that hose that cyber is talking about and cap it off, i think you can use a 2 liter coke bottle cap. But when you vent into the atmosphere your car is gonna bog during shifts, but you can correct that with a fuel computer, Just something you might wanna know if you didnt already know.:)

I thought all that happens is the fuel mixture gets rich and causes backfiring :confused:

and the bogging when coming to a stop....

Thats what i mean. Like when you vent into the atmosphere that air that let out, is un-metered and your car dosnt adjust the fuel, so you run rich when you come off the gas i.e. shifting. Its no big deal but its kinda of a pain. I havent had the experience with an sr20 yet, but ive drivin turbo cars(turbo MK3 supra, Turbo MR2) and that bogging thing is general with all turbo cars. Like i said touigh not to big of a deal.
