I apparently have a problem in the wiring in the passenger airbag, a problem that the shop will charge me $300 or so to fix. I dont want to do this right now (money's tight. whats up college!), and i will have to pass inspection soon. not that this will allow me to pass inspection anyway, but just a precautionary measure, what do i need to do to disable this light that blinks the entire time the car is on? (If only to turn it off because its so damn annoying)

also, to note: There is not really a danger in leaving this problem as is, the light is flashing to notify me that the entire system has been shut off to prevent a random firing of the airbags.

thanks for the help, guys!

Probably removing the bulb. I would not try anything else.

Safety first, get it fixed
