Can anyone share some insight on how to disconnect the variable voltage control system on our 2019 Rogue so that the alternator charges without any input from the ecm? I have seen tutorials on how to disconnect the single wire Style on the older versions but this has the multi-wire style. Thank you

I now have a vety specific question.
If you have access to the electrical manual for the 2019 Nissan Rogue, can you tell me which wire (color) and which pin # in the IPDM sends the charge signal to the alternator?

This will be the single wire that the IPDM uses to send signals from the VVCS (variable voltage control system) to the alternator to control charge voltage.

Thanks

The gen2 Rogues from '17 up have a LAN alternator and not PWM. Because it's a bidirectional bit-bang and not unidirectional like PWM, you can't disconnect anything on the alternator without lighting the MIL and the generator lamp. The only thing you can do is disconnect the battery current sensor, that will cause codes but won't light the MIL on most models.

Thank you for your help. I appreciate it.
If you look at my photo above of the wires attached to the ground cable, do you know if that whole plug constitutes the current sensor, or is it one of those individual wires?
Thank you

Those pics are the battery current sensor, none of those wires go to the alternator. You can just take the whole connector loose to disable sensing. Those particular connectors can be very stubborn, so to avoid breaking anything, I strongly suggest dousing the whole shell with WD40 or PB Blaster before trying to release the latch.
