Disable lost remote M45

lost one of my M45 keyless entry remotes, how can I disable it to make sure it can not be used by whoever stole it.

Not sure about the Factory remotes, but aftermarket systems can delete old remotes simply by re-programming existing remotes to "bump out" the codes of old ones. Not much help, huh...

How do you bump out the code of the old ones.
How about he key in the remote that opens the door and glove compartment

I would imagine the Dealer needs to reprogram... as far as the key, I assume you would need to have the lock cylinders replaced.

SmoovC got it. Trip to the dealer to remove the coding the car, and new lock cylinders. I'd assume that you're going to want another key regardless and I would think that the dealer would be able to remove the last one while they are programing the new one for no cost. New cylinders is going to be painfully expensive though, and as far as I know, they whoever has the key now wouldn't be able to do much past unlock the doors with it so I might skip it.

Thanks for responding, the remote was recovered. Owner of another Infiniti had taken it, thinking it was his.
