The prevoius ownwer of my 240 was must have been a slob, because im having some trouble cleaning of the caked-on dirt of the hand brake and the steering wheel. When it gets hot, inside my car, theres a dull odor that come form the layers of dirt, form my steering wheel and my e-brake. Its nasty, how do it get it off?

Try Simple Green mixed with about 3 parts water and a small scrub brush. Doubt the smell is coming from the E-brake and steering wheel, though... Try taking some TuffStuff to your carpet and upholstery too.

ill try it, the smell is coming from the steering wheel and e-brake, i gave it a sniff, and i confirmed it. The guy that sold it to me, was a mechanic, so i figure he must come home from work pretty dirty!

Dude I know how that goes... the guy i bought my 240sx from parked it in his yard under a tree. The car was infested with bugs and smelled so bad. I had to get it though because it was relatively cheap and had no rust. Instead of trying to fix the problem i stripped the who car and in the process of replacing the who interior. Good luck with cleaning it.

"Awesome" brand degreaser also works pretty good. i use it on carpet, vinyl and plastic. Scrubbing bubbles also works like magic.

Diluted simple green will also do wonders on the headliner if there are any stains, and works well as a degreaser for the engine bay as well!

And doesn't harm the environment!

And tasty!

(ok, last one may be false)
