Hey guys, I'v been working on getting my car running not so rich for about a week now, and 3 days ago I came upon a disgusting discovery when removing/cleaning the IACV and throttle body: My intake mani is very dirty inside. Either with carbon, or dirt. It looks like someone sprayed underbody coating in there flat black crap. And to top it off, there's about 1/16" of either gas or some mystery fluid (i forgot to sniff to check) at the bottom of the intake manifold (I reached in w/ my finger through the IACV hole and yeah... it dipped in some fluid.

I've resealed my injectors since then, replaced the O2 sensor, cleaned the IACV valve and throttle body, I'm ready to start it up again, and drive it to my house (I've gotta switch garages, my neighbor needs his for when it snows) it'll sit at my house until i can clean up this mess, whatchu guys think? Causes of the dirty black ****?

blow by sucked from the valve cover into the intake. normal on any motor that is why you clean them. happy motoring
