i know this is nothing mechanical in a way but excuse me for being a noob!does anyone know what kind of wax that can remove like semi deep layer film (like the paints been sitting under a tree type film) i heard that there is a type of wax called "color back" that could help aid in this process. i just wanted ot get everyones opinion and see what i should do!

i actually have never used one before, so i dont have any preference. but you use it to take impurities off the surface. if you let the sapp sit and bake in the sun for a while, it might not be fixable with the clay bar. if you know of any local automotive detailer and they should be able to help you out, or even take care of the spot(s) for a small fee.check out this link i found by searching googlehttp://autopia-carcare.com/inf-clay.htmlits a long read, but it will inform you on how to use it, what to use it for, what it will and wont do, etc.

Grab a Mother's Clay Bar kit, any auto parts store will have it.

Follow with a good polish and wax - I prefer a protectant like Zaino, but most "normal" people can get by with Meguiar's...

I've tried the mother's stuff and it wasn't as effective as some of this stuff by Soft99.

Kinda hard to find stateside, but I found it at my local Autofreak store. I think they've a website http://www.autofreak.net.
