I would stay away from anything in WA. Thats where Cameron is origonally from and a Shady Guy named Rob is up there too. Unless you can drive up there and pick it but don't but it.

automotive advantage (NOTE: this is NOT the company that is linked to in the above link... that is someone else) on ebay has been simply AWESMOE with me.. I got my rb20 from them for a good deal, and they shipped only what I wanted! I got the motor, crossmember, and brakes essentially.

They did forget my MAF, however I called them adn what do you know 3-4 days later it was at my door step.

Also EVERYTHING about my motorset has been simply awesome. The motor was 100% virgin :) nothing was really rusty which is kind of scary, not a single bolt gave me trouble. The turbo had literally NO shaft play... like the same if not less than my brand new GT3255. Oil looked like it had about 2k on it, coolant was great, and when i finally got everything hooked up right it started within like a second.

I researched them a bit, plus they are a BIG company that does JDM on the side, so you dont have to worry about them liek up and leaving town or anything.

Just givin the heads up... not all ebay places are bad

Ya, that motor does look a little but like ***. Id be weary of the unplugged upper radiator hose, and the general filth on it. 500 shipping isnt to great either, but 800 for a clip is an awesome price.

It is auto though, which lowers the value a bit.

The clip looks a little on the rough side. I purchased a clip a few months ago from a company called Jarco http://www.jarcoinc.com Check them out. The clip was amazing and the customer service was second to none

Also:

There really is no such thing as a dirt cheap clip.Cuz when you buy a cheap clip it'll usually cost a lot of $$ to rehab.

If I were to buy an SR I would rather spend the extra 2-300 and get a quality motor which will likely save me more than what I pad extra in rehab costs.Sources for quality motors are our sponsors banner on the left.

Jarco is located near where I go to school in north west georgia. I've heard nothing but good things about them. They are hands down the best place to get a clip from. I've spoken to someone there before and they keep calling me when the get a new shipment in even though I don't need an SR anymore.

Supposedly they take about 1 clip from ever 3 clips they are offered in japan. Tested on forklifts through every gear, compression, and leakdown.

Only problem is they are a little more expensive, but you pay for what you get.

Yeah, they are the MOST reputable company, but there supplies are limited because like he said, they only take some because their main purpouse is to supply replacements for industrial vehicles. I got my motor from JHOT in august, ga and they have GREAT service and quality. Havnt heard a bad thing yet and i was pleased with the quailty and price of my motor.
