The free NFL Sunday Ticket and free HD got me ..i'm signing up for DirecTV but
need a refer-a-friend code.
Saves us both $10 off a month for 10 months on our bills.
Posting in gaming but I think is better here cause I want to order tonight.
Thanks,

Referal sent to the Email you have listed in your NICO account. I'm assuming your first name is Damon.

mutual benefit. Thank YOU :)
Just be aware that my DVR receiver is slow as balls when it comes to responding to commands via remote. 8 seconds+ to acknowledge the fact that I hit a button.

Have you tried swapping it out? I've never seen that on the countless DirecTV HD-DVRs I've messed with.

No, I complained to DirecTV a few times but they never did anything. Just a whole lot of "Dear Mr. Sisson, we're sorry you're having trouble with your receiver. Rest assured we will fix it..."

Then they tell me to delete everything off my DVR because loading it up slows it down, even though it still has 80% capacity remaining. Give me a break.

Odd. Am I correct in assuming it's a leased box? If so it is there responsibility to replace it. My dad had no trouble swapping out a faulty box. Then again, I haven't messed with DirecTV in a while since I can't mount a dish at my place. Though I would switch to D* in a heartbeat if I could.

Yeah, leased box.
I'm tempted to find someone in New England with DirecTV and get a box from them so I can get their local channels... AKA the Patriots.

Do you get your local channels from DirecTV? If not (as in your local market is too small and they don't carry it), you can petition them to get another major market. When I couldn't get my local channels they piped me in New York. Then again, that was living in BF Illinois.

Yeah, I get local channels. I requested local Rhode Island channels, but they told me it was impossible (which again, I know is s***, but whatever).
