i recently went to a car show, and while looking upon other peoples rotors, i realized that people (majority) had their rotors in the direction that if they where going foward, the outside of the drilled/ slotted pattern goes first. Does it really matter what direction they go in? I thought its supposed to go the opposite direction?

BTW: it was Extreme Autofest Afterdark at pomona, and it sucked! Lets just say it cost $17, I bought it for $10 off some guy in the parking lot, and it wasn't even worth that $10! There was only one true JDM car, an R32, and that even sucked! Not 1 s13! There was an S14 with silvia badges, but it was SUPER kitted up with like 19" rims and TV's everywhere. It wasn't the import show i expected. All it was was just civics, not even jdm civics, just kitted civics. Most of the cars in the parking lot were better looking than the ones inside.

Unless the rotors are specified with direction, it doesn't matter.

They'll crack either way, but since you are driving forward, I'd guess the vents pointing forward.

It depends on the desired effect you want/ Also, if the rotors ahve directional vaning (vaneing?) it can be quite a difference.
