Direct Ignition conversion?

I see some DI conversions but i don't know if it needs the special stand alone ECU or if i can just plug and play.

you will probably wind up with a crank trigger setup, or you could convert the pickups in the distributor to trigger an MSD DIS-2.

not sure what would be involved in that setup, i would need the schematics for ignition on a KA.

yah the stand alone on the same page is crank triggered. So i guess i will need this ecu in other words ^^;

i cant imagine it being too hard.

at the very least you will probably need the MSD DIS2, modify your distrib., and a waste spark setup using two coils, or a COP setup.

there may be an easy way, but im not to familiar with the KA.

i would need it infront of me w/ a service manual.

i can provide you with the FSM, its downloadable on this website. But i can't find the DE FSM.

let me find a usa DE FSM. I want this Direct Ignition on my sohc/dohc engine.

I have a 90 sohc FSM.
