I used one of those things on my old Honda and it worked... sort of. It did a reasonably good job at popping out some minor indentations (that alone was worth the cheap cost of the kit!), but don't expect any miracles.

If the dent has a sharp edge or a crease in it, the repair kit isn't going to work at all. Those can't be "popped" out.

Unfortunately I have a small sharp-edged dent on my door that was probably caused by some idiot in a parking lot. I just try to ignore that it's there.

I got one before for a dent in my Murano but it was a rather large dent, like a tennis ball size and creased funny, needless to say it didn't do much for my case. I wound up calling a paintless dent removal and it was great, no one ca tell there was a dent but it was $175 to remove the dent, so it's costly. Damn peole in parking lots that are clueless! Oh well I park in safer further places now and never close to 2 door cars.

I got a dent in my V. It's about the size of a golf ball and it's located right above the rear driver door. You can't see if looking dead on, but from an angle you can see it. It has a nice smooth concave shape which will pop out very easily I just need to find something to pop it.

If you observed someone hitting your car with their door while both cars are parked can you file an ins. claim with their Ins. or does it have to be a traffic accident.
